Integrative Mental Health and Wellness Services, LLC. formerly Integrative Counseling Services is located at 21261 Kelly Road in Eastpointe, Michigan 48021; phone number: 5864912040.

Integrative offers mental health services that range from counseling to psychiatric services. Additionally, we offer holistic modalities such as Reiki, massage and other healing touch modalities.

The concept of my practice is wellness derived through a mind, body, spirit approach. In so much, we offer services that would eliminate barriers both mentally and physically such as; weight management, nutritional counseling, specialty supplements, fitness training.

Expressive therapies such as art, dance and music for healing. Hypnotherapy for a wide range of issues as well as an expanding technique called Neuro Cognitive Dynamics (color, light and sound therapy).

We offer employment orientation and training which includes adult education. We have placement service assistance for populations such as the disabled, substance abuse and offenders.

I had a raffle last year which was successful in establishing a clientele without the need to advertise. This year, the raffle proceeds will be used to provide the above services to a population that would not otherwise be able to avail themselves of our services.

Integrative staffs dynamic professionals such as Licensed Counselors, Master Level Social Workers, Psychologists and Psychiatrists, Medical Practitioners and Employment Support Staff. We are a “one stop, one shop”.

Currently, we are a profit private office but my concept is to establish a referral base and crisis hotline to provide information to the community. We offer health education seminars to provide cutting edge information not typically shared to the public.

Raising cancer treatment funds for Nidia Cruz - Raffle Ticket Great Cause of the Week

March 8th, 2008

Hi my family and I are raising money for my aunt Nidia Cruz from the Dominican Republic. She has breast cancer and chemotherapy and radiation treatment is very expensive over there. Nidia Cruz is a strong educated loving wife, mother and teacher. She teaches in many highschools through out Santiago. You would think that as an educator you would have insurance for treatment however, that is not the case. Insurance helped pay for some but not a lot. She already used all her savings for her chemotherapy and now she needs 12 radiation treatments which cost 26,000 pesos per treatment (equivalent to $3,000 US Dollars). A total of $36,000 US dollars.

Nidia is only 55 years old and had to stop working in order to take care of her condition. Times are bad over there to stop working and on top of that treatment is very expensive. She also already had one breast amputated. We are trying our best to raise money as much money for her cause.

We are selling our raffle tickets for $1 and the prize is an Apple 4G iPod nano-silver and the drawing will be held on May 25, 2008.

Alice’s Rest Comfort Home - Raffle Ticket Great Cause of the Week

February 19th, 2008

We are having an “Antique Appraisal Fair” on April 5th, 2008. This is similar to the Antique Road Show that is seen on TV.
This will benefit our non profit hospice home, Alice’s Rest Comfort Home.

This home is run entirely with volunteers, no one is paid. The patients and their families are not billed in any way, even insurance.
It is truly a FREE service we give to these special people at this very critical time in their lives. We take hospice patients in to the home
for 24/7 care/companionship in the last 3 mos. of their lives.

The atmosphere we provide is happy and upbeat. We help the patient “live” each day.

The way we pay the bills for the home is to have fundraisers like these, or accept memorials and donations from anyone who cares to help us.
All the proceeds go to the running of the home and the care of the patient.

If you need more information you can call Marcia (director of this event) at 607-566-2111 or you can call Alice’s Rest Comfort Home directly at 607-566-3420. We are always looking for volunteers. 4 hours a week or whatever you can spare is greatly needed and appreciated. Training provided. Please call the home # directly if you are interested in this.

Michigan Crisis Intervention Coalition - Raffle Ticket - Great Cause of the Week

January 15th, 2008

Michigan Crisis Intervention Coalition was formed on the premise that if we ALL do a Little, we can help A LOT. There are too many people struggling in todays eceonomy, especially here in Michigan. Too many fall through the gaps of traditional help systems like the Red Cross, Salvation Army, United Way, Lighthouse, etc. Oftentimes the need is urgent, and the many hoops, and red tape to penetrate these barriers cause a significant delay in action. We at Michigan Crisis Intervention Coalition want to ” GET IT DONE “, quickly, efficiently, and move on to the next person or family that needs our help. We are a grass roots camapign aimed at making a difference in peoples lives. Helping when they have run out of other potential resources. Doing what the BIG non-profit guys sometimes cannot get done. One on One, adressing individual needs as they pertain to the situation at hand.

This charitable fundraising raffle that we are currently hosting hopes to raise the funds to save a family home that is facing possible foreclosure.

Donnovan Spralls, National Young Leaders Conference - Raffle Ticket - Great Cause of the Week

December 11th, 2007

My name is Donnovan Spralls and I am 12 years old. I have been invited to attend the National Young Leaders Conference in Washington D.C. this coming spring. The mission of the conference is to foster and inspire young people to achieve their full leadership potential. This conference is an invitation only event and is only offered to the most outstanding students who are recognized for exceptional leadership skills and outstanding academic achievements. I didn’t even know that people thought of me as a leader.

I really want to attend the conference in Washington D.C. When I looked on the web site, it talked about how young people go to the conference and learn how to impact change through effectively speaking and standing up for what they believe in. I want to learn how I can become a leader in my community. I want to know how I can make a difference.

I am selling raffle tickets to raise the money to attend this event. The conference costs $1,785.00, which does not include transportation to Washington D.C. and spending money. My family does not have the money to send me. The raffle tickets are $1.00 each and the prize is a $100.00 gas gift card, the drawing will be held December 21, 2007. If you would like to purchase a ticket, please e-mail me at donnovanspralls -at- yahoo.com. Thank you.

Loren Honovich and SARCOMA Foundation- Raffle Ticket - Great Cause of the Week

December 5th, 2007

Loren Honovich is a 31 year old female who has been battling a cancer for almost 3 years now called OSTEOSARCOMA. OSTEOSARCOMA is a rare cancer of the bones and usually effects young children. There are many forms of SARCOMA that effect the muscle, tissue, blood vessels and other supportive connective organs. Loren has had many rounds of high doses of chemotherapy in the first year of diagnosis followed by a surgery that left her disabled. They had to remove her half of her left pelvis, her entire hip and the sacrum which connects to the lower portion of your back. After many, many months of recovery and a good fight, Loren pulled through this. She had many more rounds of chemotherapy which she became intolerable to and always wound up back in the hospital worse than before, After treatment Loren had a PET Scan which found that the bone cancer had spread to the lungs. Loren now has bone cancer in the lungs. Last September they removed a portion of her right lung and some from the left lung. They tried more chemotherapy and again it is back in the lungs. She is facing yet another dangerous lung surgery again very shortly. Everyone close to Loren is well aware that this is such a rare, aggressive and deadly cancer. There are many others that are not aware of how serious this cancer is and how it slowly can deteriorate your life and the life of others around you. Loren’s family was also completely unaware of the repercussions and sadly had to learn the hard way. This fundraiser and all donations will help Loren in so many ways. We need to call attention to this cancer. Unfortunately Loren is running out of options. There is not enough funding to support clinical trials and research to aid in Loren’s recovery. Research is needed and part of the proceeds raised for Loren’s benefit will also be donated to the SARCOMA Foundation. This fundraiser for Loren and the Hope for Her Miracle will hopefully start something spectacular for SARCOMA research and clinical trials but most importantly her life.

Miah’s Miracle - Raffle Ticket - Great Cause of the Week

November 14th, 2007

On April 23, 2007, our daughter Miah suffered a near drowning accident in the bathtub. She suffered extensive global brain damage from the accident. The doctors told us our beautiful daughter would never again see, hear, talk, eat, move or anything else. Basically, she would be no more than a vegetable. We were also to expect seizures and cerebral palsy to develop. With prayers, family support and intensive therapy, our Miah, now 16 months old, rolls over, laughs, eats from a spoon, is regaining some vision, loves music and stands briefly with adaptive equipment.
Insurance only pays for her special KidKart wheel chair. We are selling raffle tickets to raise money for an adaptive standing board, tumble form feeding seat and an adaptive swing. The total cost is around $11,000. The raffle tickets are $5 each, the drawing is December 7, 2007 and there are 2 prizes: the winner gets $400 and second place receives $100.
